Coffee MachinesWhen we talk of coffee makers there are many types of them many brands and styles. Each of these coffee makers is excellent in their features and working. But essentially there are 4 general types of the coffee makers,

The drip, The vacuum, The French press, and The stovetop.

Each of these coffee makers needs different treatments to get started. They have different time of preparation and the quantity made. So with these differences the users can make coffee of their own taste at home.

Drip coffee makers:

These are the best one among the coffee makers. The reason for their being the best is their simplicity and ease of use. One of the reasons is that the machine does all the work itself. All you have to do is to simply add some coffee and cold water and leave the rest to the machine. These drip coffee makers are efficient also. The coffee is brewed in just 2 minutes. To hold the coffee grounds the paper filters are used. With these the clean up method becomes very easy.

Vacuum style coffee makers:

These types of coffee makers have been around us since 1840. There are many people that prefer to use a vacuum style coffee maker just because it gives a better taste than the simple drip coffee maker. This type of coffee maker has 2 separate glass containers. These are sacked on top of one another, the brewing takes place on the top section. There is a siphon to pull the hot water from the lower section tot eh upper section.

Stovetop coffee makers:

These types of coffee makers also have the similar structure as the vacuum style coffee makers; they also have 2 separate pots. The lower part contains the water, ground coffee and the filter basket. The lower one is heated and then the heated water is forced to the top container via a siphon. The coffee prepared by this coffee make is rich in taste. It has some considerations like the coffee must not be left to boil in these stovetop coffee makers because the taste of the coffee will become sour.

French Press coffee maker, this type of coffee maker prepares a fully boiled coffee.
